Snow Day!

ANOTHER Snow day. We have had LOTS of them. The part I get tired/sick of/mad about is the weather forecasters (especially on the TV news) getting so hyped up about EACH AND EVERY STORM. This particular meteorological event (aka "Snowmageddon") was supposed to dump 8-12" between Sunday Night and Monday Noon. With 50 mph winds. What we got was maybe 4", no wind. It was a really nice packing snow--lots of snowmen on my way home. Even if we had gotten the full 12"--we live in the NORTH, and it is FEBRUARY. 12 inches of snow is not a crisis here--it is WINTER. I really wish they would stop with the panic-mongering.
